Collection includes issues, 1947-1998, of two genealogical publications re the Wood / Woods family lines (see carton 19): Wood - Woods Exchange (issues for 1947, 1948, 1950, 1951, 1953, 1955, 1956, 1958); and Wood - Woods Family Magazine (issues 1973-1980, 1982-1990, and 1996-1998) Also includes a file on the Union Camp Corporation (carton 17), later known as International Paper, a pulp and paper company and a major owner of timberland in the United States. Since 1981, this company has owned land in Richland County, S.C., includes the Kensington Plantation property [this file possibly relates to Hicks' research on the Singleton family].
